A good friend of mine who’s also the owner of online figure store, Hubbyte and also one of the original founders of Otakai Figure Society (a community of figure collectors here in the Philippines) was invited by international fashion brand, UNIQLO (株式会社ユニクロ) in the recently held “Launch” event of their new One Piece clothing line.

Dubbed as “UNIQLO X ONE PIECE”, The said event showcased UNIQLO’s new collection of apparel featuring designs that are all based on Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece characters. The shirt designs looks great and the prints are of high quality which makes them a worthy purchase specially for One Piece fans. Each shirt costs roughly 20USD. You can view UNIQLO’s One Piece collection here.

Apparently, the main “spotlight” of the event was the extensive collection of One Piece figures that are on display. Virtually all One Piece figures released by Megahouse, Bandai, and Banpresto are all displayed in the event. The figure display was a joint collaboration between figure collectors and members of the Otakai Figure Society and Hubbyte.
