Hi Guys, I’ve been very busy this past few months with work that’s why I haven’t posted any updates with regards to OtakuPro V2. Rest assured that I’m constantly improving OtakuPro and I’m trying my best to release it (for FREE of course) as early as I can. Speaking of updates, I added a new feature which let’s you select the type of layout you want to use in your post.

“perfect for figure and anime reviews or if you just want to showcase your photos in a bigger and more detailed format.”

I’m aware that the current 2 column layout (although it works) will “limit” users who wanted to display their content using the full width of the page. With this update, you can now use the full width of the page by setting it on the admin side before you publish your post. This layout is perfect for figure and anime reviews or if you just want to showcase your photos in a bigger and more detailed format.

WHY NOT GO “RESPONSIVE”? IT MEANS THAT THE DESIGN ADAPTS BASED ON USER SCREEN SIZE

OtakuPro V2 is capable of being “responsive” but due to some issues on the layout, I decided to disable it for the meantime. Honestly, it’s a very complicated subject that requires a lot of planning and design considerations.

OtakuPro V2 Update: Full Width Layout (1)
The full width layout looks great specially for hi resolution images.
OtakuPro V2 Update: Full Width Layout (2)
I’ve added the necessary controls on the admin side. Selecting “Yes” will obviously use the full width of the page while selecting “No” will use the standard 2 column layout.

Also, before I forgot, YouTube embeds will also dynamically resize based on the width of the page so you don’t have to worry about setting the player size every time you post a content (works on Vimeo too!). I also implemented a bunch of changes to the player by using YouTube’s available embed parameters. This makes the player more visually appealing. Check the sample YouTube video below. (And yep, this is all built in. NO PLUGINS!)

I still have a couple of updates here that I want to implement before I release OtakuPro V2. Don’t worry guys, I’ll make sure your wait is going to be worth it! Thank you so much for your support and I’ll keep you posted for more updates!
