A few weeks ago, I posted a mini review of Boomslank’s otaku apparels. Their design and artworks are really impressive but I really don’t have any idea when it comes to the overall quality and material of the item. Today, I just received my very first sample shirt from them… I love it!

The design they sent me was called “Pisces”. The artwork is so “massive” because it contains a LOT of graphical eye candies that will really attract someone’s attention. It shows a Japanese school girl being surrounded by underwater creatures, but instead of underwater, they’re in a somewhat busy metropolis setting with lots of clouds, traffic lights, and electrical wires all over. It covers the whole front part of the shirt which is great.

The shirt material is also soft and very comfortable to wear. They’re using American Apparel brand for the shirt. For size reference, please check out following links below.

The print is also of high quality. I’m not really sure about the method of printing they used on the shirt but for me, it looks like it’s ink. The best part here is all the colors of the original artwork are all intact. You will also get a post card size (that you can collect) of the original artwork with a personal message on the back from the artist, pretty nice.
