At first, I thought this figure was Panty Anarchy from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt but a closer look and he’s basically Benten from the manga ZONE-00. You didn’t notice right? I used the word “he” when I referred to the figure. Yes, you heard that right – Benten is a male and he’s a freaking trap!

The figure looks so gorgeous that you will mistakenly think he’s a girl at first glance. But just pause for a moment and take a look at his chest…that’s no cleavage right there. Still confused if I should get this figure or not. Aside from not being female, figure is also a bit pricey. Slated July 2014 for ¥23,148.

Character Info

Owner of bar Benten, where all the city's creatures go to relax and unwind. He's a three-legged monster bird (Yatagarasu), and so beautiful he makes grown men miss the last train. He can turn into a golden crow, and observes the city from the sky and supplies his brethren with valuable information-for a price. He's an old friend of Byakko, Murakumo, and Kiyoami, and is especially close to Murakumo. And by the way, he is a guy. Apparently he has siblings in Chichibu in the Saitama prefecture.

ZONE-00 is a manga created by Kiyo QJO (a.k.a. Kiyo Kyujyo) that is published by KADOKAWA SHOTEN and was first released in 2007 in Japan. ZONE-00 also ran in Beans Ace magazine and had stopped publishing in October 2009. Currently, nine volumes have been released in Japan. TokyoPop released four of these volumes before closing its North American publishing branch in May 2011.
