Preview | Kotobukiya: Nina Williams

Kotobukiya’s “Bishoujo” figures keeps getting better and better – specifically their Tekken Bishoujo line which are all based on Shunya Yamashita’s character designs. This figure right here is none other than the 1/7th scale figure rendition Nina Williams from popular fighting game, Tekken.

The figure looks really good specially with Tony Taka’s unique “touch” on the characters. Some people are complaining about Nina’s “odd” pose but I don’t really see anything wrong about it. Slated November 2014, ¥7,200.

A cold-blooded Irish assassin, Nina made her first appearance in Tekken, the original game in the series, and is one of three playable characters (the others being Paul Phoenix and Heihachi Mishima), and the only female character to appear in every installment in the series. She also starred in her own spin-off game, Death by Degrees.

Series Info

I also see no problem with the pose either. I have the previous Tekken releases so far, they certainly never fail to impress. But I do have to point out the artist is Shunya Yamashita, not Tony Taka. Similar cute girl styles though :)

Oh! Thanks for the correction! I sometimes interchange Shunya and Tony on some of my posts > < and yeah, I think I may need to get the previous Tekken figure releases because of this figure :D She's perfect in my opinion!
