Good Smile Company is going to release the 1/8th scale figure rendition of Shibuya Rin from the popular anime series, Idolm@ster. I’m very much familiar with the series and I kept on seeing a LOT of Idolm@ster figure goodies (from different figure manufacturers) in the past. Unfortunately, none of them caught my fancy > <

I actually told myself back then that I’ll just maybe wait for Alter, Max Factory, or GSC (Top 3 figure manufacturers in my list) to create the scale figures that I will surely buy, and yep, it’s obviously GSC who made the move.

They already have the license of all the characters in the series but unfortunately, most of the figures they released in the past were all Nendoroids… And I’m not really a fan of Nendoroids (that’s why you will never see any nendoroid figures in this site) :P

Shibuya Rin is scheduled for a late January 2014 release, ¥8,381.
