Just a few weeks from now and we’re all gonna see the most amazing thing that will ever happen in Marvel’s cinematic universe! Alongside that are the amazing figure renditions of all characters from HK based figure manufacturer Hot Toys. I’ve been collecting Hot Toys for years now and I actually own both the first Avengers and second Avengers (Age of Ultron) set. This is obviously going to be very expensive specially now that some of the characters are now open for preorder. My wallet is gonna hate me for this.
Thanos looks pretty menacing here and I think Hot Toys did in fact nailed it in terms of color and body proportions. I own the very first Thanos (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1) and in terms of overall looks, this one looks very different (like a whole new character). I also think Hot Toys is going to release another version of him in full body armor like what was shown in the trailer (the one where he’s holding the hand of the young Gamora). I think it will be very similar to the one from Guardians 1 but with the updated look of this one.
Thanos is slated for Q1-Q2 2019 for $380 (via Sideshow) so start saving up!
