Happy Holidays! Today’s figure review will focus on Strength from the Black Rock Shooter universe. It was the fourth figure release from the Black Rock Shooter series by Good Smile Company and I think it was also the last figure to be released in the series (i hope not!).

Similar to the previous BRS figure releases by Good Smile Company, this figure rendition of Strength has the same design and feel. The base design was also preserved though the chain props have been removed. Like the previous BRS characters, Strength also has her own oversized weapon. This time, that weapon is a pair of mechanical arms dubbed as “ogre arms”.

Strength is a very beautiful figure. You will think that she is a “he” because of her petite and flat chested figure. Yeah, that’s right, Strength is a girl.

I already have her for a couple of months now but this is the only time I was able to review her. I still have lots of figure reviews in line and I hope my very busy schedule will allow me to review all of them.

So, let’s take a look at her shall we?

Strength was the fourth figure release in the BRS figure lineup of Good Smile Company.

Like the previous BRS figure releases, the overall design and feel was preserved.

Previous BRS figures namely BRS, Deadmaster, and Black Gold Saw have these chain props attached to their base. It’s absent in Strength figure though.

BRS characters always have their signature oversized weapon and it’s still present in Strength’s overall character design.

The base design still consists of  the black and white blocks similar to the previous BRS figure releases.

Strength’s relaxed pose is a bit of a change from the previous BRS figure releases which all have dynamic poses.

I really love Strength’s outfit. It’s minimalistic and also somewhat sexy depending on the angle you’re looking.

The figure is quite heavy too because of her gigantic mechanical ogre arms which makes it pretty stable.

Many are tricked because of Strength’s petite figure. Her flat chested-ness also contributes to the speculation that Strength is a male. BRS characters are all females, so yeah, Strength is a female.

Strength wears plain white undies. It would be great if they made her panties zebra striped lols.

Strength is really not that hard to assemble. Her assembly is pretty straightforward. Out of the box, there are only 4 parts that you need to put together to finalize the figure for display unlike the previous BRS figures which will make your head spin trying to figure out where goes where.

There’s something cool with the hoodie and the part where her mouth is being covered by her outfit.

In my opinion, this figure is the most sexiest in the series. If only they made her chest a bit bigger…

She wears a nice pair of tight shiny long socks with ribbons similar to Deadmaster. Those ribbons really adds a “cute” feeling to the figure.

Strength’s gigantic ogre arms.  The mechanical details of the arms are just great.

At first, I thought the individual fingers are movable. I think GSC should try to incorporate a bit of articulation on their future figure releases. Kinda similar to the movable head of Beach Queen figures.

I’m really not sure why Strength’s character design has a tail. But I think this is a design element that they need to add to make the character design consistent across all the characters in the Black Rock Shooter universe. Like Deadmaster and Black Gold Saw’s pair of horns.

Strength is a must have addition for Black Rock Shooter fans specially if you happen to have the 3 previous BRS figure releases. They look great together on display. I just wish the BRS figures won’t stop at Strength. There are still a lot of BRS characters that can be made into a scale figure specially the characters from BRS’ official game. And don’t forget White Rock Shooter, we need a scale figure of that!

See ya on our next figure review! Have a Happy New Year!!!
