Kaitendoh originally released the “Vol 1” version of this figure back in 2012 dubbed as the “Messenger Girl”. They also did a repaint of that said figure which was released August 2013. They’re now going to release the “Vol 2” of this figure dubbed plainly as the “Girl with Bicycle” – and like the previous version, It’s a figure with well… – a bicycle.
Since I’m a cyclist myself, I have a very strong interests in figures with bikes. Figure looks OK and the wooden bike is interesting but I still prefer the bike on the previous version. Figure Slated May 2014, ¥9,500.
I have the same problem with this version as I did with the previous ones: the quality of the bike looks fine, but the girls themselves look rough—especially the faces. Alter’s 1/8 Amane Suzuha & Mountain Bike is the kind of quality I’d like to see Kaitendoh strive for on these bike figures, but I guess I’m hoping for too much.
Same here. I’m only interested with them because of the bikes not the actual figures :P Still waiting for my Amane Suzuha and yes you’re right, that’s also the kind of quality I’m looking for.
