One of my favorite anime characters will be having her own video game. Black Rock Shooter: The Game (ブラック★ロックシューター THE GAME) is an upcoming RPG game featuring the iconic protagonist of the anime, Black Rock Shooter.

The game is currently being developed under the hands of imageepoch for the Playstation Portable. Scheduled release of the full game is on August 25, 2011. The setting of the game is still unclear but its definitely on a different universe from the OVA. The game will have 2 retail versions. One is a limited edition premium white box version which includes a figma of the game’s main antagonist, White Rock Shooter, and another version which included and nendo petite version of the same character.

Aside from this game, BRS characters will also appear on another PSP game, Nendoroid Generation, which features Good Smile Company’s nendoroid figures.

I assembled some key scenes from the games main trailer and from the looks of it, we should expect for more BRS figure goodness in months to come. Characters from the game are downright awesome!
