GSC’s James Jean TMNT Set

As a designer myself, the name James Jean is not new to me. I was amazed the moment I learned that he will be collaborating with Good Smile Company in the form of TMNT characters which is a part of my childhood. It’s still puzzling how a Japanese company specializing in anime figures will collaborate to an artist such as James Jean, an artist with a very unique style and is usually not seen in the anime industry (unless JJ worked on anime themed projects I didn’t know about).

I immediately preordered all characters the moment I saw them open and received all 4 of them earlier this year. The figures looks absolutely stunning and you can definitely see James Jean’s style on all the figures. All 4 characters can be “connected” together to form a diorama-like display awesome to look at. All of their boxes also have a unique code that you need to redeem in order to get the limited edition aluminum art print (which I still haven’t redeemed yet :P)

Will take photos of these incredible figures once I have some extra time. Sigh, I’m super busy these days and sometimes I even forget to update my blog ^^;
