Yamato is going to release the 1/7th scale figure rendition of the cute Xiaomei from the game, Shining Hearts. Yamato doing figures based on Tony Taka’s work is good news for us collectors. I’m pretty excited to see how well can Yamato compete with Kotobukiya when it comes to “TT” character figures. Slated November 2012 for ¥9,800.

    Meh…IMO, Koto and MF did a better rendition of her. There’s something lacking on this one, her bosom maybe? Plus her legs look awkward.

    Yep, I agree! TT figure renditions are Kotobukiya’s turf in my opinion. Followed by MF. Though the only thing I don’t really like about Kotobukiya figures is their consistency. Some of their figures are GREAT, others are meh :/ not unlike MF, they have a good reputation when it comes to figure quality like Alter. (just my 2 cents).
